15 Minute Savory Grit Bowl


1/4 cup Quaker Quick 5 Minute Grits

1 cup water

1 tbsp Silk Unsweetened Almond Milk

1 tbsp Country Crock Olive Oil butter spread

1 Gardein Breakfast Sausage patty

1 dash garlic powder

1 stalk spring onion

**optional: Sriracha

salt and pepper (to taste)

This quick and easy vegan savory grit bowl is the most comforting breakfast you can make in a pinch!



Boil water and cook grits according to package instructions.

While water is boiling, add sausage patty to air fryer or cook in a pan on medium heat until thoroughly cooked (don’t overcook).

When grits are done, stir in the almond milk and butter.

Season with garlic powder, and add salt & pepper. Serve in a bowl

When the sausage patty is done cooking slice and add to the top of your grits.

Garnish the bowl with diced pieces of the spring onion.

Add a drizzle of sriracha on top of using.
